National federations

To become a Ciett member as a national federation, candidate organisations should meet the following criteria:

  • To be a national agency work association which is representative of the private employment agency industry in the country which it represents. A multinational association which represents more than one country may qualify as a National Association Member, provided that such a multinational association is a member of a Regional Association established in accordance with Article 29 below. Ordinarily, only one national or multinational association in each country or relevant geographic area shall qualify for membership. However, in extraordinary circumstances, the General Assembly may decide to grant membership to more than one such association in order to achieve adequate representation of the sector.
  • To maintain membership in the Ciett Regional Associations for which they meet membership requirements.

Candidate organisations that would like to apply for Ciett corporate membership should:

Received applications will be submitted to the Ciett Board. If granted by the Board, they will then be put forward to the Ciett General Assembly for a final ratification vote (simple majority vote with a quorum of at least half of the members present or represented). Ciett membership will become effective as soon as membership fees are paid.
