ILO Tripartite Workshop on Convention 181 - Issue Paper published

 

Ahead of the ILO Workshop on the Convention 181, the ILO has published a Issue Paper on private employment agencies

The paper covers the following main section:

  • An overview on the ILO Convention 181 and its main provisions
  • An anaysis the positive contribution private employment agencies provide to better functioning labour markets.
  • An assessment of opportunities and challenges of the private employment agency industry in times of economic crisis.
  • Approaches for developing the sectoral social dialouge on temporary agency work.
  • Chapters on the benefits of ratifying ILO Convention 181 and on support in the ratification process.
